Auto Globe Services is one of the auto repair shops listed in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The business is registered at 8 Hathaway St, New Bedford, MA 02746; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as car inspection station, used car dealer, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 7 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (508) 990-3730. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is autoglobeservice.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 182 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in New Bedford.

New Bedford is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New Bedford is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.
